Bill Sherman's 1994 Wrangler

From the Cedar Tree trail

Nice parking job there Bill

Bill bought his '94 YJ w/Hardtop new off the lot. Drove it stock off road 3 times until the Jolly Jeepers had to drag him all over the Flying M ranch in September 1997. Broke the frame bolt on the rear trackbar on Ginsberg point. Since then he has been busy making it very trail worthy. Here is a list of the items so far.

Future Plans - Full RollCage, Soft Top, Steering Brace

Bill says, "After blowing through two D35's, I finally 'saw the light' and put in a custom built D44 from a 1/2 ton IH binder. Thank you R&P, Plain & Peanut and Spoiled Rotten.

The Teraflex 4:1 upgrade boosted the crawl ratio from 48:1 to 70:1. This is quite a difference from the stock 1st gear ratio of 32:1. Go stock? See Rock? BANG ROCK! .

With WARN manual hubs at all four corners, 4.56 gears and LockRights fore and aft this rig is still capable of being a daily driver but LIL TYK is now much happier "On The Trail."

Bill says "Other than that, I'll wheel it until something else snaps then figure out what to replace it with".
