Kevin & Carolyn Cooper's CJ7

As Sixbye sits in the garage Kevin and Carolyn Cooper venture forth in the latest creation from the Cooper shop. The Ford electric blue 1986 CJ-7 is powered by a high output 4.0 fuel injected Cherokee engine. The stock air conditioning compressor supplies on board air for the tires, tools and ARB’s in each differential. Both axles are Dana 44’s with 5:38 gearing. The power gets to the axles through the Cherokee automatic transmission hooked to a Dana 300 t-case with dual stick control. The axles are slung under modified Wrangler springs and are dampened by a Rancho 9000 adjustable shock at each corner. The torque meets the rocks through 33x14.00x15 Super Swamper Boggers. The dash is custom built with most of the gauges and switches mounted in a removable panel for access to the wiring. A micro lock is mounted to help the holding on hills. The creature comforts include a pair of Super Seats and a Bestop Supertop. Sixbye is proud!
